Nostalgic

Yesterday I had iPhoto open on the computer, and Henry and Eleanor caught a glimpse of some baby photos. This turned into a whole afternoon and evening of looking at photos and watching videos. “More baby movies!” Henry would say. The kids set up their little chairs by my desk chair, and we sat in a row and watched their babyhood flash by on the screen. I got out some DVDs and let them have a special treat of watching baby movies on the TV before bedtime last night, too.

I’m always lamenting how quickly Henry and Eleanor are growing up, but when your children ask you for the first time to look at their baby photos it really hits you how fast it all goes by.
