What Did We Do Today? A Handy Reference List

Friday, September 19, 2008

Since it’s Friday night and I’m all full of Taco Bell burritos, instead of trying to compose witty paragraphs, let’s just do the day’s events in list form, shall we?

Today, Henry and Eleanor:

• slept in late (thanks, kiddos!)

• ate eggs from their aunt and uncle’s chickens; Eleanor fed some of hers to the dog

• played with their books and puzzles

• watched Sesame Street

• dumped their box of blocks all over the living room

• ate lunch; Eleanor fed some of hers to the dog

• took a long nap (thanks, kiddos—Mommy napped, too!)

• played with some red scrap paper

• ate animal crackers; Eleanor fed some of hers to the dog

• read The Monster at the End of This Book

• climbed on the couch

• climbed on the chair

• read The Monster at the End of This Book again
• pushed their sippy cups around on their ride-on toy cars

• had a karaoke dance party with Mommy
• decided the kitchen floor was the best place for the newspaper

• sat on the ottoman together with their legs overlapping
• ate supper; Eleanor fed some of hers to the dog
• played outside with the friendly neighborhood cat

• took a bath

• wanted to read extra stories at bedtime
• charmed the pants off of Mommy and Daddy, just like they do every day
