17 Things at 17 Months: Eleanor Edition

1. Her little bottom wiggles side-to-side when she runs, which is pretty much all the time.
2. Her smile takes up her whole face and can’t help but make you feel joyful, too.

3. She says “dog” and “car” but they both sound like “gog.”

4. She’s quick to crawl into your lap for a snuggle.

5. She loves her books; Go Dog Go is her favorite.

6. Her brother, dog and cat make her giggle.

7. She hands you her bib when she's hungry.

8. She says “neck” (which sounds like “a-na”) and “cracker.”

9. When you go to get her out of her crib, she hands you all of her stuffed animals.

10. She knows most of her body parts and names of animals and even tools.

11. She likes to whisper.

12. She has the sweetest curls on the back her of head and above her ears.

13. She looks out for Henry and will bring him sippy cups, etc.

14. She has a bit of a shy streak and will look down when she’s feeling shy.

15. She doesn’t like eggs.

16. She pats herself on the chest and grins with pride when you ask, “Where’s Eleanor?”

17. Strangers always ask us, “Is she always this happy?”
