Easter

Sunday, April 4, 2010

Christmas is usually considered THE major holiday, but I’ve always preferred Easter.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs? Top THAT, Christmas.

Easter has better music: Christ The Lord Is Risen Today; He Lives!; Up From The Grave He Arose; the entire soundtrack to Jesus Christ Superstar.

Even an agnostic like me enjoys the Biblical story, full of betrayal and forgiveness.

Best of all, instead of the middle of winter, we’re enjoying spring and all the blooms and green and renewal.

Whatever you happen to celebrate this weekend—Easter, Passover, spring, Butler’s place in the national championship game—I hope you’re having a good one.

Happy Easter to you, Jenny Jean, and to Andy, Henry & Eleanor. I know you are enjoying this great weather as much as we are. Have a truly awesome day!

I love that shot! Very cool!

I consider myself as agnostic as well, but I too like Easter for the sense of renewel that it gives and for the start of growth that comes with Spring.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
