Blowin' in the Wind
Sunday, September 14, 2008
Good call, National Weather Service, on issuing that Wind Advisory for our area today. We were enjoying the last minute of the Colts game when we heard a CRASH! BOOM! THUD! out in the yard. Lo and behold, a huge limb had blown down. Good thing we bought that chainsaw two weeks ago.
thanks, Ike!
Andy's parents arrived yesterday, on their way home from Michigan. Considering that I was napping when they arrived and sleeping when they left this morning (what can I say, I'm a great hostess), I don't have much to report from their visit—they treated us to yummy Chinese food last night, and Henry and Eleanor had fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.
Other than tree-monitoring, we've just been lounging and playing all afternoon. I got out the play sushi set, and Henry and Eleanor entertained themselves for a long time.

Later, the chopsticks became Harry Potter magic wands.
Expelliarmus!
They can be pretty exhausting, but it’s so much fun to see Henry and Eleanor play together. We are so lucky!
